About the Wenatchee Marathon

Riverfront running defines this Wenatchee event, with a start and finish beside the performing arts center and a festival-style gathering downtown. TedDriven also directs event proceeds toward cancer research and local causes.

Course

Marathoners complete two laps of the half-marathon route on mostly traffic-free paved trails beside the Columbia River. The loop crosses the Odabashian Bridge, passes Confluence State Park, and returns through a lap chute before the final finish.

Race-day weather

Central Washington spring mornings are often cool, but clear skies can produce a noticeable warm-up as runners repeat the exposed river loop. Wind near the Columbia and changing sun exposure may matter on the second lap.

Is Wenatchee Marathon a Boston qualifier?

Yes. Wenatchee Marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
