Course is good, the hill in the last KM back into the city is horrible and probably the worst thing about this course when you're already knackered.

Weather was perfect this year (2026). Pacers were the best.

After the first mile or two, the runners get fairly stretched out. The aid stations are nicely spaced.

Beautiful scenic course plenty of water stops. Gentle downhill almost the whole way.

This is a beautiful, peaceful, road course and a well organized event.

I was really excited about this race and hoped to qualify for Boston given the promise of the negative split due to the gentle downhill … The trail is gravel and it really took a toll on my feet and legs … The tunnel is fun although I was on my own (the field really spreads out after the turnaround at mile 6.5) and it was super dark.
