The Motor City Half-Marathon is the Detroit-only 13.1-mile race on Free Press Marathon weekend. It is distinct from the International Half-Marathon, avoiding the border crossing while retaining the major-city production.
Course
The domestic route moves through several central Detroit neighborhoods and concludes at Campus Martius Park. A 10:30 a.m. start and 3.5-hour course limit make it a later race than most half marathons.
