About the Bellin Women's Half Marathon
Bellin Health, the organization behind Green Bay's long-running June 10K, stages this all-women fall race with a field of roughly 1,500 across the half, relay, and 5K. Proceeds support the Women's Fund of Greater Green Bay, and the weekend opens with a Friday night dinner and keynote speaker.
Course
The urban course stays inside Green Bay and finishes on the CityDeck boardwalk along the Fox River. The half, relay, and 5K share one morning start, so the opening mile runs crowded before the fields separate, and the layout keeps spectators close for most of the race.
Race-day weather
Early October in Green Bay usually means cool mornings in the 40s and 50s with mild afternoons. Wind off the bay or river can pick up, and rain is possible, so a throwaway layer at the start is a reasonable call.
