About the Tartu City Marathon
The marathon is part of the established Tartu Maraton event series. Its city-center staging and one-lap full course distinguish it from many compact urban marathons.
Course
The full marathon completes one varied circuit through central Tartu, neighborhoods, parks, and Emajõgi river sections. Frequent scenery changes help break up the distance.
Race-day weather
Early October is cool and often damp, with rain and wind possible. Wet leaves and bridges can make some urban surfaces slick.
