About the Casablanca Marathon
Casablanca's marathon starts beside the Hassan II Mosque and brings the full marathon, half marathon, and four-person relay into one large city event. The full is open to amateur and professional runners, with wave starts and a six-hour limit.
Course
The 42.195 km road route starts and finishes near the Hassan II Mosque. It follows the corniche past Sidi Abderrahman and Morocco Mall, turns inland through Casablanca Finance City and the Mohammed V sports complex, then crosses the historic and art deco center before returning to the waterfront.
Race-day weather
Late October is usually mild by marathon standards, but the Atlantic keeps humidity in play. The exposed corniche can add wind, while sun on the inland sections may make the second half feel warmer than the start.
