About the Scout Mountain Ultras 100 Mile

Scout Mountain's flagship distance is a demanding tour of the Bannock and Pocatello ranges outside Pocatello. The race pairs a high-mountain course with an eight-hour trail-service requirement and Hardrock qualification.

Course

The route covers 102.5 miles from Lead Draw Trailhead to Mink Creek, ranging from 4,824 to 8,686 feet with about 21,400 feet of climbing and descending. Long remote legs and late miles in the dark make navigation and self-care central.
