Course
The half starts and finishes at Mission County Park on Padre Drive and uses the Mission Reach segment of the San Antonio River hike and bike trail, a flat paved path through the Spanish colonial mission corridor.
Race-day weather
Mid April mornings in San Antonio start mild and turn humid quickly after the early gun. Shade on the river trail is patchy, so the back half is usually the warmer and more exposed part of the race.
