About the Maratona do Rio
Latin America's largest marathon festival fills several days with four race distances. The full marathon and combined challenge attract a deep Brazilian and international field.
Course
The 42K starts near Praia da Reserva and tracks the coast through western and southern Rio before finishing at Aterro do Flamengo. The route is flat but highly exposed.
