About the RacingThePlanet: Brazil
This is RacingThePlanet's new self-supported stage race in Brazil, built around Chapada Diamantina rather than the established desert series. Competitors meet in Salvador before transferring inland, then carry their food and mandatory gear through six stages while sleeping in organizer camps.
Course
The 250 km route uses six stages across Chapada Diamantina. Rocky trails, dirt roads, technical stone, singletrack, sandy ground, village tracks, canyons, waterfalls, and frequent river crossings produce a varied week rather than one dominant surface. A long stage and a shorter final stage divide the workload before the finish.
