About the GMS Queen City Marathon
Regina's flagship running weekend includes marathon, half marathon, relay, and shorter events. The lakeside Wascana Centre base keeps much of the festival close together.
Course
Wascana Centre connects with downtown and established neighborhoods on certified roads. The terrain is generally gentle, but turns and prairie wind can disrupt rhythm.
Race-day weather
September can begin cold and finish mild, with rain or strong wind possible on exposed sections. Saskatchewan temperature swings make layers useful before the start.
