Road2Hope brings a full weekend of running to Hamilton’s waterfront. The marathon covers two loops, while the separately entered half marathon covers one, making Confederation Park the base for both start and finish logistics.
Course
The marathon starts and finishes in Confederation Park and follows a flat, double-loop route along Hamilton’s waterfront. Kilometre markers and aid stations approximately every 3K help runners pace the two circuits. The timed course cutoff is 6.5 hours.
Race-day weather
Early November in Hamilton can be cold, windy and damp. Exposed stretches beside Lake Ontario can feel colder when the wind rises, so layers that work at the start should also suit the later waterfront miles.
