About the Hamilton Marathon Road2Hope

Road2Hope is one of Ontario's major fall marathon weekends and a popular goal race. Its distinctive escarpment descent and long waterfront finish define the experience.

Course

The point-to-point route drops from the Hamilton Mountain area, includes the long Red Hill Valley descent, and continues on flatter lakeshore paths. Early downhill restraint is essential for the closing miles.

Race-day weather

Early November in Hamilton can be cold, windy, and damp. The exposed waterfront may feel much colder than the sheltered upper-city start.
