About the Gopher Attack Marathon

Marathon Matters stages this spring full separately from its Canada Goose Ultra. It is also independent of Regina's Queen City Marathon, despite sharing the same city and a fast-road audience.

Course

The individual marathon repeats a level certified loop in Wascana Park. Regular access to aid simplifies fueling, while the exposed circuit asks runners to manage wind and maintain concentration.

Race-day weather

Late April in Regina can bring freezing wind, cool sunshine, rain or even late snow. Open park terrain provides little protection, so flexible layers and wind-resistant gear are useful.
