About the Patagonian International Marathon 21K

The Patagonian International Half Marathon is the 21K race within Patagonia Running Festival. Its remote route crosses open terrain near Torres del Paine National Park.

Course

The 21.5 km point-to-point course is roughly half gravel and half asphalt, with about 452 m of ascent and 540 m of descent. Five aid stations support runners before the shared finish.

Race-day weather

Early spring in southern Patagonia can bring cold air, strong winds and fast-changing conditions. Organizers advise runners to prepare for temperatures around 2 to 10 C and possible rain.
