About the La Valette Marathon
This spring race is distinct from the Malta Marathon held from Mdina to Sliema. La Valette centers its identity on Valletta and the Three Cities.
Course
The road course moves through and around Valletta's harbor landscape and fortified communities. Repeated short grades and stone streets prevent a uniformly flat rhythm.
Race-day weather
March is often mild, but Mediterranean sun, sea wind, or rain can all appear. Exposed harbor sections may feel cooler than streets inside the fortifications.
