About the Eversource Hartford Half Marathon
Hartford's half is a separately certified and scored race within the city's major fall running festival. It gives 13.1-mile runners a broad city tour and the same downtown finish energy as the full.
Course
The route starts near the State Capitol and reaches landmarks including the Twain and Stowe homes, Elizabeth Park, Riverside Park and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Arch. The limit is three hours.
Race-day weather
Mid-October in Hartford often produces cool starts and comfortable racing, but rain, wind or an unseasonably warm afternoon can occur. Park and riverfront sections may feel cooler.
