About the Daegu Marathon
Daegu's full marathon has grown into one of South Korea's largest road races. Elite and mass fields share a stadium-based event with shorter distances.
Course
The certified urban route starts and finishes at Daegu Stadium and uses wide arterial roads across the city. Long straightaways reward concentration and efficient group running.
Race-day weather
Late February is usually cold and dry, though wind on open roads can lower the apparent temperature. Runners should plan for a chilly stadium wait.
