Designed by local distance runners, the course carries about 1,200 feet of elevation gain and is meant to highlight Chattanooga rather than flatten it out. Expect a real rolling city marathon with strong spectator sections and a certified route.
Race-day weather
Late March in Chattanooga can start cool and finish much warmer, and humidity can show up even when the morning feels comfortable. The hills tend to matter more once the day warms.
