About the Yuma Territorial Marathon

The Caballeros de Yuma stage this winter marathon alongside a half, 10K, and relay. Its rural setting, modest field, and dependable desert climate appeal strongly to qualification seekers.

Course

The certified out-and-back route follows Highway 95 through the Yuma Valley toward San Luis. Elevation is minimal, but highway exposure, long sight lines, and wind make focus important.

Race-day weather

Late January is usually dry with a cool start and warm finish. Direct desert sun and low humidity increase fluid needs even when temperatures remain comfortable.
