About the UWI SPEC International Half Marathon
The University of the West Indies hosts this established Trinidad road race from its Sport and Physical Education Centre in St. Augustine. A 05:00 start sends half-marathon runners onto the Priority Bus Route before the day's heat builds.
Course
The 21.1 km route follows the traffic-free Priority Bus Route from St. Augustine to La Resource Junction in D'Abadie, then returns along the same corridor to the university. The out-and-back layout keeps navigation simple and gives runners a view of the field on the return leg.
