The loop from Scenic World uses cliff-top trail, fire road, steep valleys, creek crossings, and 951 Furber Steps near the finish. Total gain is about 4,400 meters.
Race-day weather
May in the Blue Mountains can be cold before dawn, mild by afternoon, and wet at any time. Valleys and exposed escarpments may feel very different.
