Traverse City Trail Running Festival 100K

Northern Michigan's trail festival offers a broad distance menu, with the 100K as its longest individual test. A common start-and-finish base at Timber Ridge helps crews and gives the weekend a social, campground feel.

The 100K moves through Pere Marquette Forest on a mix of singletrack and wider doubletrack. The changing trail width affects passing and rhythm, while the Timber Ridge base keeps race logistics concentrated.

Early May can be cool, damp and muddy in northern Michigan. Forest shade keeps temperatures moderate, but rain can make the singletrack slower and the day longer.
