Quick facts
- USATF certified course, sanctioned for Oklahoma state records.
- Several miles run on the paved Riverparks Trail beside the Arkansas River.
- Brewery start and finish in downtown Tulsa, with a 5K on the same morning.
- Finisher medals feature a different downtown Tulsa building each year.
Course
The start and finish are at a brewery on East 4th Street in downtown Tulsa. The route pulls out of the city grid and picks up several miles of the paved Riverparks Trail along the Arkansas River before turning back through downtown streets. The course is USATF certified and sanctioned for Oklahoma state records.
Race-day weather
Late March in Tulsa swings hard from year to year. A 7:30 start is often in the 40s, but a warm front can put race morning in the 60s. Wind coming off the river is common enough on the trail miles that it belongs in any pacing plan.
About the T-Town Half Marathon
Golden Driller Racing has produced Tulsa road races for over twenty years, and this is the spring one built around downtown. Its signature is the finisher medal, which features a different piece of Tulsa architecture every year, from Art Deco towers to the Union Depot. Local runners collect them.
