About the Seoul Marathon

Seoul Marathon, also known through its Dong-A Marathon heritage, is one of Asia's fastest and most established spring road races. The race combines elite-level competition with a very large mass field and an entry process that can fill quickly.

Course

The full marathon is scheduled to gather at Gwanghwamun Square and finish around the Jamsil sports complex. The point-to-point city route favors even pacing, though the crowded start and long urban straights reward disciplined positioning.

Race-day weather

Mid-March in Seoul is typically cold to cool at the start, with dry air and a gradual warm-up. Wind can be the larger pacing variable on exposed city sections.
