Race-day weather
Mid November in the Tennessee valley usually starts in the 30s or 40s and finishes near 60. Fog off Melton Lake is common early, and the late 9 a.m. start means the closing miles can feel warm.
About the Secret City Half Marathon
One of the faster autumn halves in east Tennessee, with finishers rising from under 300 to more than 600 in five years. The Manhattan Project history behind the Secret City name gives the event an identity the course itself does not advertise.
