About the Churchill's Half Marathon
Churchill's has been part of northwest Ohio running since the 1960s, and the race still carries its To End Hunger mission, with proceeds supporting local food programs. The field is capped at 1,250 runners, so it keeps a regional feel despite the long history.
Course
The certified point-to-point route starts at Perrysburg High School and rolls along the Maumee River through Perrysburg, Waterville, and Maumee before finishing at The Shops at Fallen Timbers. The hills are steady rather than steep, but they add up if the early miles go out too fast.
Race-day weather
Mid-November in northwest Ohio usually means a start in the 30s and a finish in the 40s. Wind off the river is common, and rain or early flurries are realistic, so layers matter more than heat planning.
