Licking County's Thanksgiving-season race takes its name from the three towns the T.J. Evans Trail connects. The half is the long option next to a 10K, 5K, and kids run, and the field skews local, family-heavy, and comfortable with a walk-run day out.
Course
Everything stays on the paved Evans Foundation bike path, out from the Johnstown trailhead and back to the same line. The old rail grade means no climbs to plan for and no traffic to work around, which makes even splits realistic if the surface cooperates.
Race-day weather
Late November in central Ohio is the variable that matters. Freezing or near-freezing starts are normal, open stretches of trail catch the wind, and wet leaves or a light snow cover can make the pavement slick.
