About the Outway Half Marathon
Victoria's half is a distinct 21.1-kilometre race within the Royal Victoria Marathon weekend. It combines destination appeal, a generous cutoff and a downtown finish in one of Canada's strongest running markets.
Course
The route starts and finishes near Victoria's Inner Harbour, then runs through city streets and Oak Bay with long ocean-facing sections. Rolling grades make it scenic but not uniformly flat.

October in Victoria is usually cool, with rain and coastal wind more likely to affect pacing than heat. Conditions can change quickly between sheltered streets and open waterfront.
