About the HOKA Kodiak Ultra Marathons by UTMB 100M
Kodiak's 100M is the longest race at the Big Bear UTMB World Series weekend. A 36-hour limit, separate Friday start and full valley circuit distinguish it from the event's shorter trail distances.
Course
The 100.6-mile route circles Big Bear Valley, uses Pacific Crest Trail miles and climbs toward Sugarloaf Mountain. Much of the course sits above 7,000 feet and totals 15,912 feet of gain.
