About the Jönköping Marathon
The event gives marathon and half-marathon runners a late-summer race beside Sweden's second-largest lake. Central staging makes logistics straightforward.
Course
The paved route follows long sections of Lake Vättern before returning through Jönköping. Modest elevation supports quick running, but turns and wind interrupt rhythm.
Race-day weather
Late August is usually mild, though rain and lake wind are realistic. Bright editions may warm during the second half on the exposed shoreline.
