About the Isle of Man Marathon

This intimate island race shares its first circuit with the half marathon. Ramsey's Mooragh Park provides the event base and a compact finish area.

Course

Marathoners run the measured northern-island loop twice from Mooragh Promenade. Country lanes and recurring inclines make the second lap a patient strength test.

Race-day weather

August is generally mild, but Irish Sea wind and rain can arrive quickly. Sunshine may also make the exposed rural sections warmer than expected.
