One of Asia's leading trail races, HK100 is the 100K centerpiece of a four-day festival and a member of the World Trail Majors.

Hong Kong 100 course description

The point-to-point route runs west from Pak Tam Chung through Sai Kung and along much of the MacLehose Trail. Most climbing comes after halfway, before the Tai Mo Shan descent.

January is usually cooler and drier than Hong Kong summer, but exposed ridges can be windy while lower valleys may still feel humid.
