Historic Drawbridge Running Festival Marathon

This Maryland full connects Eastern Shore roads with a finish near the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum. It is separately entered from the half and 5K and gives walkers and slower runners an unusually broad window.

Marathoners travel point to point over historic drawbridges toward St. Michaels. Flat terrain helps pacing, but bridge approaches, open roads and any coastal wind can interrupt an otherwise steady rhythm.

Late October on the Chesapeake may bring cool, quick conditions, rain or a mild humid day. Wind is the main exposed-course variable, particularly near water and on bridge crossings.
