About the NCR Marathon
Baltimore Road Runners Club stages the NCR Marathon and half marathon on the Northern Central Railroad Trail. The low-key club atmosphere attracts repeat runners and late-season goal attempts.
Course
The out-and-back course is almost entirely on hard-packed crushed-stone trail with a gradual rail grade. Tree cover and limited road exposure create a steady, quiet rhythm.

Late November can be cold, damp, and breezy, with frost or light snow possible. Shaded trail miles may stay chilly throughout the race.
