Quick facts
- Runners must turn 18 by the end of the year.
- Elite entry needs a World Athletics-certified half marathon of 1:25:00 for women or 1:15:00 for men.
- Race kits are handed out only on the Friday and Saturday before the race at Parque Estadio Nacional; there is no race-day pickup.
- Each runner may hold only one entry across the four distances.
- Bag check accepts only the official race bag from the kit.
Course
Half marathoners start alongside the marathon at 6:45 a.m. from Estadio Nacional and cover one lap of the circuit: out along Avenida Grecia to a turnaround at Avenida Matta, south on Avenida José Pedro Alessandri to Avenida Escuela Agrícola, back up Avenida Marathón and around Parque Estadio Nacional to the finish in the stadium grounds. The official profile stays between 554 and 578 meters above sea level, so the course rolls only gently. Hydration, medical and toilet points sit along the route.
Race-day weather
Santiago in mid-November is usually dry and sunny, with cool air at the early start and temperatures climbing through the morning. Most half marathoners finish before the warmest part of the day, but sunscreen is worth it.
About the Fedachi Marathon 21K
The 21K is one of four distances at the Fedachi Marathon, run by the Federación Atlética de Chile with Agencia Menta. In 2026 it is one of the South American Championship races, and because the federation has the course measured to World Athletics standards, a time here counts toward world rankings. Overall winners take CLP 1,200,000, and Chilean runners who break the national record earn a bonus.
