About the Falling Water Trail Marathon
This Ontario trail marathon is based in Eugenia rather than the legacy Vaughan location. The full and half share the event program but take on distinct distances in the steep Beaver Valley landscape.
Course
The roughly 42 km trail course accumulates about 1,600 metres of climbing around Eugenia Falls and the Beaver Valley. Steep grades and technical footing make this a mountain-style endurance race.
Race-day weather
August can bring warmth and humidity to southern Ontario, while shaded ravines may remain damp and slick. Thunderstorms or recent rain can quickly change footing near falls and steep slopes.
