Course
The half marathon is a one way point to point route on the fully paved Centennial Trail, starting at the Getchell Trailhead and finishing at Averill Field in Snohomish. The trail runs net downhill through second growth forest and farmland with no road crossings to fight for most of the way. The course is USATF certified. The 5 Mile starts near the Machias Trailhead and finishes in the same place.
Race-day weather
Late May mornings in the Snohomish Valley usually start in the high 40s to mid 50s and warm slowly. Rain or heavy overcast is common, and the tree cover along the trail keeps things cool even when the sun comes out.
About the Evergreen Half Marathon
