About the Cedarburg Half Marathon
Cedarburg keeps its field small deliberately. The race is put on by 22 Events and raises money for Camp Odayin, a camp for children with heart disease, and the 1,200-runner ceiling keeps the roads from bottlenecking in the early miles the way larger Milwaukee-area races can.
Course
The course starts and finishes at Cedarburg High School on a certified, chip-timed loop through surrounding Ozaukee County roads. It is gently rolling rather than flat, and five stocked aid stations cover the distance with pacers available for a range of target times.
Race-day weather
Late May in southeastern Wisconsin is usually comfortable, with starts in the 50s. Lake Michigan sits close enough to keep mornings cool, but a warm and humid day is possible and the course offers limited shade.
