About the Healthcare Solutions Half Marathon

Edmonton's flagship half shares the Servus Edmonton Marathon weekend but is a separately timed 21.1-kilometre race. In 2026 it also hosts the Athletics Canada national half marathon championships, including masters competition.

Course

The flat, fast route opens and closes on Jasper Avenue, linking downtown with neighborhoods overlooking the North Saskatchewan River valley. Current maps are being revised for construction.

Race-day weather

Mid-August mornings in Edmonton are often comfortable, but sunshine can warm exposed roads quickly. Cool spells, wind or rain are also possible, so layers should stay flexible through race week.
