Course
The point-to-point mountain route accumulates about 17,000 feet of elevation change across three summits before a Smoky River crossing. Technical trail and remote sections make it a full-day effort.

Grande Cache mountain weather can move from summer heat to cold rain, wind or hail. Runners should expect large temperature swings between valleys, exposed summits and the overnight finish.
