About the Himalayan 100 Mile Stage Race

Running since the early 1990s, this five-stage event follows the Singalila Ridge and returns through villages and forest after nights in high mountain huts and lodges.

Course

Five stages total about 100 miles, climbing from Maneybhanjang toward Sandakphu, using out-and-back ridge miles, descending to Rimbik, and finishing back near the start area.

Race-day weather

High ridges can be cold and windy at dawn while lower jungle sections turn warmer and humid. Large altitude changes make layers and rain protection important.
