Bobcat Marathon

This established southeast Ohio trail race centers the full marathon in Burr Oak State Park. The generous time window welcomes a broad range of trail runners without making the terrain trivial.

The route follows park trail through wooded, rolling terrain around Burr Oak. Roots, leaves and sustained elevation change reward steady effort, with the eight-hour cutoff allowing time for careful pacing.

Early November in southeast Ohio can be cool and colorful, but cold rain, mud or an early freeze are possible. Fallen leaves may hide rocks and roots on technical sections.
