About the Bethlehem Running Festival Half Marathon
Pennsylvania Running Company launched this festival in 2023 to fill the gap left when the Runner's World Half and Festival ended its Bethlehem run in 2019. The half marathon is the Sunday headliner after a Friday trail run and Saturday 5K and 10K, and multi-race challenge entries let runners stack the weekend.
Course
The half starts and finishes in front of the SteelStacks blast furnaces, crosses the Fahy Bridge, and works through Bethlehem's historic streets and parks. It is a city course with steady turns and some grade changes rather than a flat out-and-back.

Mid October in the Lehigh Valley usually means cool, crisp race mornings, often in the 40s at the start. Conditions tend to favor fast running more than they punish it.
