About the Belfast City Half Marathon
Belfast's September half is a separately entered city race rather than the midpoint of its May marathon. The event provides its own start, cutoff and results history for half-marathon runners.
Course
The road route begins at Ormeau Park and moves through Belfast before its city finish. Urban turns and crowd density make controlled positioning important during the early miles.
Race-day weather
September in Belfast is usually mild, with rain and wind more likely than heat. Damp roads and exposed stretches can shape comfort even when temperatures look favorable.
