About the Maybank Marathon
Maybank Marathon is Indonesia's leading international road race and the marathon centerpiece of a multi-distance weekend. Its Gianyar base shows a quieter side of Bali beyond the resort coast.
Course
The road course travels through Gianyar villages and agricultural landscapes on rolling terrain. Repeated rises, dense humidity, and limited shade make effort more useful than target pace.
Race-day weather
August falls in Bali's drier season, but mornings remain warm and humid. Strong sun arrives quickly, so cooling and fluid strategy belong in the race plan.
