This mixed-terrain 50K starts at the edge of West Yellowstone and is part of a multi-distance trail day. Its town-adjacent base simplifies logistics while the course quickly moves into Custer Gallatin National Forest country.

Course

The 50K begins on Rendezvous ski trails, adds gravel and Forest Service road, then returns to rolling packed-dirt and pine-needle paths. There are no long sustained climbs.
