Wolf Pack Adventures stages this trail festival from the Seeley Creek Nordic Trails. The 50K is separately registered from the marathon, half and shorter distances, with a full day in a compact mountain base area.
Course
The 50K runs through Nordic ski trails, singletrack and Forest Service roads near the Bob Marshall Wilderness. Two-loop logistics bring runners back through primary aid before the final miles.
Race-day weather
July in western Montana can start cool and become hot and dry, with afternoon thunderstorms possible. Forest shade alternates with exposed road and ski-trail sections.
