About the Tri-Cities Marathon
The Three Rivers Road Runners stage this long-running community marathon with a relay option. It highlights the connected Tri-Cities trail system rather than concentrating the race in one downtown.
Course
The route uses riverside paths and bridge crossings to link the three cities. The profile is generally moderate, but turns, bridge ramps, and wind along the Columbia disrupt perfectly even pacing.

Late October is often cool and dry in the Columbia Basin. Strong river wind, a cold start, or unseasonably warm sun are all possible on the exposed course.
