About the Tbilisi Half Marathon
Tbilisi Half Marathon is the longer race at the capital's established running festival. The two-loop format keeps runners close to the center, while a 1,000-runner half marathon cap gives the event a focused field rather than a sprawling mass start.
Course
The 21.097 km course uses two identical traffic-free loops through central Tbilisi, starting and finishing at Republic Square. Aid points are placed around 4.6 km, 10.6 km, and 15 km, and the maximum time is three hours.
Race-day weather
Late September mornings in Tbilisi are often mild, then warm as the sun rises. Dry conditions are common, but runners should still prepare for sun exposure and a noticeable temperature climb across the second loop.
