Always Aim High's flagship trail full returns in 2027 after the planned 2026 edition was canceled for safety reasons. It is separate from the autumn road Marathon Eryri.
Course
The mountain route crosses rugged Eryri trails with major climbing, technical descents and remote exposure. Its measured distance extends beyond a conventional road marathon, so trail ability and mountain judgment are essential.
Race-day weather
July in Eryri can bring wind, rain, low cloud and cold summit conditions even when Llanberis is mild. Mandatory equipment and organizer safety instructions should be treated as core race requirements.
